RESOLUTION NO. 101
A RESOLUTION OF THE DESIGN REVIEW BOARD OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING A MINOR
REDEVELOPWENT PERMIT TO ALLOW INTERIOR IMPROVEMENTS
AND USE CHANGE AT AN EXISTING BUILDING LOCATED AT
2937 CARLSBAD BOULEVARD TO A CARRY OUT BARBECUE DELICATESSEN. APPLICANT: JAMES & ISABELLE CLIFT
CASE NO.: RP 87-5
WAHUEAS, a verified application has been filed with the
City of Carlsbad and referred to the Design Review Board; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal
Code, the Design Review Board did on the 20th day of May,
1987, hold a meeting to consider said application on property
described as:
A portion of Block 12, Town of Carlsbad, City of Carlsbad, County of San Diego, according to Map No. 535 dated May 2, 1888.
WHEREAS, at said meeting upon hearing and considering
all testimony and arguments, if any, of all persons desiring
to be heard, said Board considered all factors relating to
RP 87-5.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Design
Review Board of the City of Carlsbad as follows:
A) That the foregoing recitations are true and correct.
B) That based on the evidence presented at the meeting, the Board recommends APPROVAL of RP 87-5, based on the following findings and subject to the following conditions.
FINDINGS :
1) The proposed project satisfies all the development standards and design criteria of the V-R Zone.
2) That the proposed project is compatible with the goals and policies of the Village Design Manual.
3) That the project is compatible with the surrounding uses.

CONDITIONS:
1) Applicant will submit all signage for the approval of the Community Redevelopment Manager prior to installation.
2) All roof appurtenances, including air conditioners, shall be architecturally integrated and concealed from view and the sound buffered from adjacent properties and streets to the satisfaction of the Community Redevelopment Manager.
3) Prior to the issuance of a business license, complete tenant improvement plans shall be submitted to and approved by the Fire and Building Departments.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Design Review Board held the 20th day of May, 1987, by the
following vote, to wit:
