APPLICANT: CITY OF CARLSBAD COASTAL DEVELOPMENT PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT 111 OFF-STREET PARKING CASE: CDP 88-10 6 11 WHEREAS, a verified application has been filed with the City 7 11 Carlsbad and referred to the Housing and Redevelopment Commission; ar 8 11 WHEREAS, said verified application constitutes a request as prov' 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 by Title 21 of the Carl sbad Municipal Code; and WHEREAS, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal Code, Housing and Redevelopment Commission did, on the 2&t day of February 1989, consider said application on property described as: Leqal Descr i pt i on : 1) The Western Railroad Right-of-way south of Elm Avenue 2) The Eastern Railroad Right-of-way north of Elm Avenue 3) East of the Railroad Right-of-way between Elm and Oak Avenl NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Housing Redevelopment Commission of the City of Carl sbad as follows: A). That the foregoing recitations are true and correct. B). That based on the evidence presented, the Commission recomml APPROVAL of CDP 88-10, based on the following findings conditions. Findinqs: 1. The project complies with the Village Redevelopment Segmenl Cal ifornia Local Coastal Program by providing increased pu parking facilities. 24 PLANNING DEPARTMENT 25 CONDITIONS: 26 1. Approval is granted for CDP 88-10 as shown on Exhi bit "B" d 27 28 P1 anning Department. Consistent with the Local Coastal Program for the Vi1 Redevelopment Area the public parking provided by thj project shall not be used to meet off-street parking requirement for Land Uses within the Village Redevelc Area unless a formal amendment to the Local Coastal F is approved by the Carlsbad Coastal Commission.
