CASE NAME: ARMY h NAVY ACADEMY CREAN/ATKINSON HALL CASE NO: RP 92-4/CDP 92-3 WHEREAS, on June 3, 1992 the Carlsbad Design Rev held a duly noticed public hearing to consider a prop05 Redevelopment Permit (RP-92-4) and Coastal Development Pe: 92-3) for construction of two dormitory buildings and Design Review Board Resolutions No. 183 and 184 respc recommending to the Housing and Redevelopment Commission Redevelopment Permit (RP-91-4) and the Coastal Developme: (CDP 92-3) be approved; and WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Commissi City of Carlsbad, on July 7, 1992 held a public hearing to the recommendations and heard all persons interested in o to RP 92-4/CDP 92-3; and WHEREAS, the Planning Director has determined project is exempt from environmental review under section Title 14 of the California Code of Regulations bec demolition of the three existing structures and the constr the proposed dormitories will not increase student capac Planning Director shall issue a Notice of Exemption u] approval of the project. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Hot Redevelopment Commission of the City of Carlsbad, Calif follows: 1. Board in Resolution Nos. 183 and 184 on file with the Cj and incorporated herein by reference are the find] conditions of the Housing and Redevelopment Commission. 3. That Redevelopment Permit RP 92-4 and Development Permit CDP 92-3 are approved and that the fin( conditions of the Design Review Board contained in Resolui 183 and 184 on file with the City Clerk and incorporated 1 reference are the findings and conditions of the Hou Redevelopment Commission with the emeptian of Condition 1 Resolution No. 183 to read as follows: "4. The Commission grants applicant's en? standards variance and finds that: circumstances or conditions applicable to the situ; surrounding property necessitating a variance of the star B.
