RESOLUTION NO. 220
A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT COMMIS
OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA, APPROVING THE PURCH
FOUR REPLACEMENT COMPUTERS AND ONE PRINTER FOR THE SE
8 RF.NTAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM IN SUPPORT OF INSTALLATION
THE NEW VERSION OF THE NAN MCKAY COMPUTER PROGRAM
WHEREAS, on March 17,1992, the Housing and Redevelopment Corn
approved the purchase of Nan McKay Computer Program to facilitate the
administration of the Section 8 Rental Assistance Program; and
WHEREAS, Nan McKay has a new version of their rental assistance co
program with features that will permit more efficient and "user fkiendly" opa
the software; and
WHEREAS, the more technical nature of the new software requires a
minimum of four megabytes of RAM on a 486 FX personal computer at each
station to run the software; and
WHEREAS, current staff computer work stations of the Section 8 Renl
Assistance Program do not have sufficient computer memory available to run
new software; and
WHEREAS, the city's Information Systems Department concurs with t
recommendation to purchase four replacement computers and one printer wi
sufficient memory to run the new version of the Nan McKay Computer Progr
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Housing and
Redevelopment Commission of the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
