HomeMy WebLinkAbout1999-08-17; Housing & Redevelopment Commission; Resolution 314v 0 0 J” 1 HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 314 2 3 4 5 A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSIO: OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA APPROVING A REVISION TO PARTICIPATION REQUIREMENTS FOR THE VILLAGE REDEVELOPMEN PARKTNG IN-LIEU FEE PROGRAM. WHEREAS, the Carlsbad Redevelopment Agency has studied various issues related t 6 within the Village Redevelopment Area and set forth its findings and recommendations related 7 WHEREAS, the findings and recommendations set forth within the “Parking in the C 8 needs and demands within a report entitled “Parking in the Curlsbad Village Redevelopment A; 9 Village Redevelopment Area” Report were previously reviewed and approved by the Housing a 10 Redevelopment Commission on June 8, 1999; and, 11 WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Commission has subsequently consider 12 15 centerline of the street falls within the 600 foot radius of an existing (or pending) public parkin 14 allow for participation by all properties which are immediately adjacent to a public street wher 13 revision to the participation requirements for the Village Redevelopment Parking In-Lieu Fee 1 18 1. The Parking Zone #2 partkipation limits for the Village Parking In-Lieu Fee Prop forth within the Village Master Plan and Design Manual, shall be amended to read follows: “Within Zone #2 and east of the railroad tracks, developers/property own€ allowed to make an in-lieu fee payment for up to fifty percent (50%) of the on-site requirement for the proposed new development, conversion, and/or intensification desired use, if the property is located within 600 feet of an existing public parking located immediately adjacent to a public street where the centerline of the street is 600 foot radius of an existing public parking facility.” 4. Except for the revision noted above, all previously approved participation requiren the Village Parking In-Lieu Fee Program shall remain the same as that originally 1 within the Village Master Plan and Design Manual, and subsequently restated wit1 Parking in the Carlsbad Village Redevelopment Area Report. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a special meeting of the Hc Redevelopment Commission of the City of Carlsbad, California, on the 17 d of August ,1999, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Commission Members Lewis, Nygaard, Finnila & KI NOES: None ABSENT: Commission Member Hall ABSTAIN: ATTEST: 2
