A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSIO!
OF THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA APPROVING DRAFT OWNER
PARTICIPATION RULES AND DRAFT RELOCATION GUIDELINES FOR TI
SOUTH CARLSBAD COASTAL REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Commission of the City of Carlsbad

Redevelopment Project; and 7
(“Commis~ion’~) has prepared a proposed Redevelopment Plan for the South Carlsbad Coastal
8 WHEREAS, Section 33345 of the California Community Redevelopment Law (Health
9 Safety Code Section 33300 et. seq.) provides that the Commission shall adopt and make availat
10 public inspection rules for owner participation in connection with a redevelopment plan; and
11 WHEREAS, Section 33339.5 of the California Community Redevelopment Law provi

the Commission shall adopt and make available for public inspection rules regarding the extens
15
within the redeveloped area if they otherwise meet the requirements prescribed by the redevelo 14
reasonable preferences to persons who are engaged in business in the project area to reenter in 1
Commission shall prepare a feasible method of plan for relocation of all of the following: 17
WHEREAS, Section 3341 1 of the California Community Redevelopment Law provide 16
plan; and

a. Families and persons to be temporarily or permanently displaced from facilities in the project area; and

b. Nonprofit local community institutions to be temporarily or permanent
displaced from facilities actually used for institutional purposes in the project a
WHEREAS, Section 33352 (0 of the California Community Redevelopment Law reql
22 I/ the Report submitted to the City Council in connection with the Redevelopment Plan include a
23 /I plan for the relocation of families and persons to be temporarily or permanently displaced from

26 the City of Carlsbad as follows:
Carlsbad Coastal Redevelopment Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Housing and Redevelopment Corn:

4 1. The Draft Owner Participation Rules and Draft Relocation Guidelines for the South Carlsbal
5 (I Redevelopment Project, as submitted in the form attached hereto, are hereby accepted and a
