HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 330
A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING
TRANSMITTAL OF THE REPORT TO THE CITY COUNCIL AND ADOPTING
OWNER PARTICIPATION RULES FOR THE SOUTH CARLSBAD COASTAL
REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT
I WHEREAS, the Housing and Redevelopment Commission of the City of Carlsbad
~( ‘Commission”) has prepared a Redevelopment Plan for the South Carlsbad Coastal Redevelopment Project
/ (“Plan”); and
WHEREAS, the Commission has prepared a Report to the City Council on the Plan which
provides all information required by Section 33352 of the California Community Redevelopment Law,
Health and Safety Code Sections 33300 et. seq. (“Law”); and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 33345 of the Law, the Commission shall adopt and make
available for public inspection, rules for owner participation in connection with a redevelopment plan; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 33345 of the Law, the Commission previously prepared and
approved Draft Rules Governing Participation and Reentry Preferences for Property Owners, Operators of
Businesses, and Business Tenants (“Owner Participation Rules”) by Resolution No. 321, dated February
15, 2000. The Commission made said Owner Participation Rules available for public inspection at the
Office of the City Clerk, Carlsbad City Hall, 1200 Carlsbad Village Way, Carlsbad.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Housing and Redevelopment Commission of
the City of Carlsbad as follows:
1, The Report to the City Council, as submitted in the form attached hereto, is hereby
approved and authorized for transmittal to the City of Carlsbad City Council for its
consideration and information.
2. The Owner Participation Rules, as submitted in the form attached hereto, are hereby
adopted.
