A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF CARLSBAD, CALIFORNIA RECOMMENDING
APPROVAL OF SUBMI"AL OF THE REVISED SECTION 8
ADMINISTRATIVE PLAN TO THE DEPARTMENT OF
HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the Housing Commission recommends approval of the submittal of
the Revised Section 8 Administrative Plan to the Department of Housing and Urban
Development; and
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad is committed to continuing to provide low-
income housing in the City as it outlined in the Housing Element of the General Plan and in the
Comprehensive Housing Affordability Strategy (CHAS), a five year plan to increase assisted
housing which is required by HUD.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Housing Commission
of the City of Carlsbad, California, as follows:

The above recitations are true and correct.
The Housing Commission hereby recommends the submittal of the Revised
Administrative Plan to the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.
The Housing Commission hereby recommends the Housing and Redevelopment
Director to execute documents required for the submittal of said Plan.

PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Housing
Commission of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on the 12th day of August, 1993 by the
following vote, to wit:
AYES: Doug Avis, Vice Chairperson; Jerry Rombotis; Nancy Calverly;
Bailey Noble; Cheri Sato; Kathleen Wellman; Ofelia Escobedo;
and Marvin Peterson, Commissioners
NOES: None
