HOUSING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 93-012
A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD RECOMMENDING APPROVAL OF THE
SUBMITTAL OF THE COMPREHENSIVE HOUSING
AFFORDABILITY STRATEGY ANNUAL PERFORMANCE
REPORT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1993 TO THE U.S. DEPARTMENT
OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the Housing Commission of the City of Carlsbad, California, at a
public hearing held on December 9, 1993, considered the Comprehensive Housing
Affordability Strategy (CHAS) Annual Performance Report for Fiscal Year 1993 for the
City’s Community Development Block Grant program;
WHEREAS, the Housing Commission of the City of Carlsbad, California
recommends approval of the submittal of the Comprehensive Housing Affordability
Strategy (CHAS) Annual Performance Report for Fiscal Year 1993 for the City’s
Community Development Block Grant program to the U.S. Department of Housing and
Urban Development; and
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad is committed to continuing to provide low-
income housing in the City as is outlined in the Housing Element of the General Plan and
in the Comprehensive Housing Affordability Strategy (CHAS), a five year plan to
increase assisted housing which is required by HUD.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Housing
Commission as follows:
1. The above recitations are true and correct.
2. The Housing Commission recommends approval of the submittal of the
Comprehensive Housing Affordability Strategy Annual Performance Report for
Fiscal Year 1993 for the Community Development Block Grant program as
presented at the public hearing on December 9, 1993.

3. The Housing Commission hereby recommends approval for the Housing and
Redevelopment Director to execute documents required for the submittal of said
Document.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Housing Commission of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on the 9th day of
December, 1993, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: SCARPELLI , ROMBOTIS, NOBLE, SATO, AVIS , WELLMAN, ESCOBEDO
NOES: NONE
