HOUSING COMMISSION RESOLUTION NO. 94- 0015
A RESOLUTION OF THE HOUSING COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF CARLSBAD RECOMMENDING THE SUBMITTAL OF THE
COMPREHENSIVE HOUSING AFFORDABILITY STRATEGY
TO THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN
DEVELOPMENT
WHEREAS, the Housing Commission of the City of Carlsbad, California, at a
public hearing held on December 8, 1994, considered the Comprehensive Housing
Affordability Strategy (CHAS) Annual Performance Report for Fiscal Year 1993-94 for
the City’s Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) program;
ANNUAL PERFORMANCE REPORT FOR FISCAL YEAR 1993-94
WHEREAS, the Housing Commission of the City of Carlsbad, California
recommends the submittal of the Comprehensive Housing Affordability Strategy (CHAS)
Annual Performance Report for Fiscal Year 1993-94 to the U.S. Department of Housing
and Urban Development; and
WHEREAS, the City of Carlsbad is committed to continuing to provide low-
income housing in the City as is outlined in the Housing Element of the General Plan and
in the Comprehensive Housing Affordability Strategy (CHAS), a five year plan to
increase assisted housing, which is required by HUD.
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED by the Housing
Commission as follows:

The above recitations are true and correct.
The Housing Commission recommends the submittal of the Comprehensive
Housing Affordability Strategy Annual Performance Report for Fiscal Year 1993-
94 for the City of Carlsbad’s Community Development Block Grant program.
The Housing Commission hereby recommends authorization of the Housing and
Redevelopment Director to execute documents required for the submittal of said
Document .

PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the
Housing Commission of the City of Carlsbad, California, held on the 8th day of
December, 1994, by the following vote, to wit:
AYES: Chairperson Scarpelli, Commissioners: Avis, Calverlc
NOES: None.
ABSENT: Commissioners: Escobedo & Nobl
ABSTAIN: None.
Rombotis, Rose, Sat0 & Wellman.
