RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CARLSRAD MIIBilICm
WATER DISTRICT REQUESTING THE SAN DIEGO COUWTY WATER AUTHORITY To ESTABLISH A PERMBNENT CONNEXTION ON THE OCEANSIDELFALLBROOK
LATERAL FOR TIrE USE AND HENEFTT OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad Municipal Water District may in the immediate future desire to obtain water *om the Oceanside-Fallbrook lateral;
HOW THEREFORE RE IT RESOLVEL) that the Carlsbad Municipal Water Mstrict apply for a permanent connection on the Oceanside-Fallbrook lateral. at approximately Engineers' Station 852-21, for the delivery of water from the distribution system
owned and operated by the San Diego County Water Authority to Carlsbad, upon such
terms and conditions as may be established by the San Diego County Water Authority; and

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the President, Billy C, &?y, and the Semetarg, Max 0, Ewald, be and they are hereby authorized to enter into negotiations with the
San Diego County Water Authority for the installation of said permanent service connection at said Engineers' Station or at such other location or locationa as may be agreed upon by said officers and the Authority.

the Authority pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth in the resolution of
the Authority consenting to the annexation of Carlsbad to the Authority. The com-
pensation to be paid the Authority, and the size of said connection, shall be such as may be agreed upon by the Authority and said officers; and
Provided, however, that said
BE IT FCJRTHER RESOLVED that the proper officers of the District be and
they are authorized to make application for said permanent connection and request
the Authority to establish the terms and conditions upon which said connection may be installed, including the size and the quantity of water and the rate of flow
that may be obtained by Carlsbad through said connection; and
San Diego County Water Authority immediately.
