DISTRICT 80. 1 OF WHEREAS, on August 9, 1956 this Board of Directors adopted Resolution lo, 27 declaring the necessity for incurring a boded in- debtedness to be payable from taxes levied upon leos tban all of the district and fixing time and place of hearing ad giving notice of hearing; and WHSBAS, in said resolut ion this Board fixed September 5, 1956, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M., on said day, as the the, and the meeting place of the Board of Directerla of at the Carlobad City Hall, 2960 Pie Pics Boulevard, Carlsbad, California, as the place for a hearing by the Beard of Directors of said district on the questions of the formation of said proposed improvement district, the extent thereof, the proposed improvement and the amount of debt to be incurred. Said resolution stated that at said time and place any person interested, including all persons owning property in the dis- trict or in the proposed improvement district would be heard; and CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT WHEREAS, at said time and place said hearing was had before this Beard, and all persons desiring to be heard on said pusstions before the Beard were heard and a full and fair hearing has been had; and WHEREAS, at said hearing evidence was presented to the Beard an said questi~ns before it, and this Bwrd is fully advised in the p rem i se o ; NOW, THEREFORE, the Beard of Directors of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATBR DISTRICT dses hereby RESOLVE, DETElUIME AND OBDER as follows: section 1. That it io deemed necessary to incur the proposed bonded indebtedness in the amount of $1,350,000 for the purpose of the acquisition and constraction of a water transmissien pipeline with appurtenances ad appurtenant works from the facilities of the San Diego County 3ater Authority located in the San Marcos, Eocondido Area [at a point to be approved by the san Diego County Water Authority) to a point within the Carlsbad Municipal Water District east of Highland Avenue, inciading works, machinery and other property ( inc I,& ing lands and easement 9 1 useful and necessary to store, convey, supply and otherwise make use of water for the lands and inhabitants within a portion of said Carlabad Liunicipal gater aistrict, and including expenses of all proceedings for the authoriza- tion, issuance and sale of the bonds. Section 2. That as a result of said hearing and upon the evidence presented, this Board does hereby determine that the ex- terior boundariea of the portion of the district which will be -1- c i benefited by the accomplishment of the above purpose are set forth on a map on file with the Secretary of the district, which map shall govern for all details as to the extent of the improvement district, and that said portion of the district set forth on said map shall hereupon consti- tute and be known as IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1 of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WA'IXR DISTRICT. ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 5th day of September, 1956.
