FESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT APPROVING
STEEL 1IESERVOIR" FOR THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, SAN DIECO COUNTY, STATE OF
CALIFORNIA7 AND NOTICE INVITING SEALED BIDS OR PROPOSALS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SAID FACILITIES AND BIIECTIXG PUBLICATION OF THE NOTICE INVITING SEALED BIDS OR PROPOSALS.
PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS FOR "WATER SYSTEM FOR IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 2, UNIT B -
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of Carlsbad Municipal Water Mstrict has heretofore declared and ascertained that it is to the best interest of Improvement District No. 2
of said water district, its citizens, taxpayers and residents, that a water distribu- tion system be acquired and constructed for the sale, distribution and storage of water
by the Carlsbad filuncipal Water Mstrict for Improvement District No. 2; and
WHEREAS, Boyle Engineering has submitted to the said Board of Directors plans en-
titled Varlsbad Municipal Water District, San Mego County, California, Construction
Plans for Water System for Improvement District No. 2, Unit B - Steel Reservoir; and
WHEREAS, Boyle Engineering has submitted to the said Board of Directors a docu-
ment entitled "Carlsbad Municipal Water District, San Diego County, California, Contract
Documents and Construction Specifications, Water System for Improvement District No. 2, Unit B - Steel Reservoir, February, 1958", which contains Notice Inviting Sealed Propo- sals (Bids), Information for Bidders, Non-Collusion Affidavit, Bid Form, Designation of
Subcontractors, Agreement, Bid Bond, Performance Bond, Labor and Material Bond, Standard
Provisions, Detail Specifications and Standard Specifications; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors, after a thorough study of said plans and said
documents, and the needs and resources of the Improvement Mstrict No. 2, believe that it is advisable that the work outlined in said plans and documents be commenced as soon
as practicable;
NOW THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT does
hereby RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER as follows:
1. District No. 2, Unit B - Steel Reservoir for the Carlsbad Municipal Water District having
been presented to the Board of Directors are hereby approved.

That the Secretary of this Board is hereby authorised and directed to publish the
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 19th day 6E February, 1958.,

The foregoing Resolution numbered 73 was duly and regularly passed and adopted
at an adjourned regular meeting of the Board of Directors of the Carlsbad Municipal
Water District held the lgth day of February, 1958, with a roll call vote as follows:
