WHEREAS, Ordinance 10, as amended, of the Carlsbad Municipal WaterDistrict provides in Section 18 that the Board of Directors of the district may establish such additional rules and regulations a3 I;lay be necessary to implement the provisions of said ordinance; and / -WHEKEAS, on July 2, 1958, the Board of Directors adopted Rules and Regulations No. 1 and 2; and WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has determined that it is necessary tc pass certain additional rules and regulations to implement certain provisions of the said ordinance; NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RcESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the following rules and regulations are hereby approved, adopted, and added to the existing rules and regulations pertaining to Ordinanct No. 10: "3. METERS a. All meters installed on permanent connections shall be llHERSEY" meters. b. All meters installed on temporary connections may be either "HERSEY" or "NEPTUNE meters. c. Prior to the installation of any meter the said meter shall be tested by the manufacturer and a written certification of the accuracy of said meter shall be supplied to district. d.
