REJECTING ALL BIDS RECEIVED FOR THE COhrSTRT3CTIOEj OF SAKTA FE CHLORIYATION STATION AHD AQUEDUCT CO3WECTICD.
WHEREAS, on July 7, 1959, at 2m P.M. at the office of the distri& at @I. Elm Avenue, Carlsbad, California, the time and place fixed for the opening of
bids on the construction of Santa Fe Chlorination Station and Aqueduct Connection,
said bids were properly opened, examined and read, and referred to the District's
Engineer, Boyle Engineering, for a report on the lowest acceptable bid; and

WIIEREAS, Boyle Engineering have examined said bids and made a report to
the board; and
LWEFEAS, Boyle Engineering has recommended that all bids received be re- jected as being in excess of the estimated reasonable cost as estimated by the Ms-
trict Engineer; and
WHEREAS, the Board determines that it is to the best interests of the
District to reject all bids,
NOW THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CARISBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT DOES I3EREBY RESOLVE:, DETEFNIhT AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Board of Directors of Carlsbad Municipal Water District does here-
by determine that it is to the best interests of the District to reject all bids,
2. The bids of all bidders on the construction of Santa Fe Chlorination
Station and Aqueduct Connection are hereby rejected.
3. The Secretary is hereby authorized and directed to advise all bidders
that all bids have been rejected and to release any and all deposits made by said
c bidders.
