RESOLUTION NO. 111
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF CARLSB D MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT DECLARING ITS INTENTION TO CHANGE THE BOUNDARE OF A PROPOSED 1MPROVEWIE:W DISTRICT WITHIN SAID MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT AND TO CHANGE TW[E AMOUNT OF THE PROPOSED DEB3 TO BE INCURRED BY SAID PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT FOR FNHICl BONDS ARE TO BE ISSUED THEREFOR, AND FIXING TIME AND PLACE FOR HEARING ON SUCH CHANGES.
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT has held a hearing on the formation of a proposed improve-
ment district within said municipal water district; and
WHEREAS, at said hearing it appeared that there should be a changi
in the boundaries of said proposed improvement district; and
WHEREAS, at said hearing it appeared that there should be a changc
in the amount of the proposed debt to be incurred by said proposed improvemenl
district for which bonds are tm be issued therefor,
NOW THEREFOR, THE BOARD OF DIFtECTORS OF CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND
ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
1. That at the time and place set forth in the notice herein containe
a hearing shall be held on the proposed change in the boundaries of the said
proposed improvement district and on the proposed change in the amount of the
proposed debt to be incurred by said proposed improvement district for which
bonds are to be issued therefor.
2, That the notice herein contained is hereby adopted and approved
3. That the Secretary of the district is hereby ordered and directec
to cause said notice to be published once at least ten days prior to said hearing
in the Carlsbad Journal, a newspaper of general circulation printed and pub-
lished in said municipal water district and to post a copy of said notice in six
public places within said proposed improvement district at least ten days befort
said hearing.
4. That the notice of said hearing shall be substantially as follows:

NOTICE OF IWTENTION TO CHANGE THE BOUNDARIES OF A PROPOSED IMPROWMENT DISTRICT WITHIN CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT AND TO
CHANGE THE AMOUNT OF THE PROPOSED DEBT TO
BE INCURRED BY SAID PROPOSED IMF'ROVEMENT DISTRICT FOR WHICH BONDS ARE TO BE ISSUED THEREFOR AND NOTICE OF HEARING ON SUCH CHANGES.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Board of Directors of
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT intends to form
an improvement district of a portion of the district which in the opinion 0f said board will be benefited by the incurring of a bonded indebtedness for the purpose if
the acquisition and construction of a waterworks system, including conduits, pipelines, reservoirs, works, machinery and other property useful and necessary to store, convey,, supply or otherwise
make use of water for the land and inhabitants within
a portion of said Carlsbad Municipal Water District, and including expense of all proceedings for the authorization, issuance and sale of the bonds,
taxes levied for t& payment of said bonds and the interest thereon to be levied exclusively upon the taxable property in the improvement district.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that said Board has held a hearing on the formation of said proposed improvement district.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that said Board intends to change the boundaries of said proposed improvement dis- trict.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that the exterior boundaries
of said proposed improvement district as proposed to be changed are set forth on a map filed with the Secretary of the district, which map shall govern as to all details as to the extent of the proposed improvement district.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that said Board intends to
change the amount of the proposed debt to be incurred by said proposed improvement district for which bonds are to be iasued therefor from $1, 200,000 to $1, 000, 000.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that a hearing will be held
on such boundary change and change in amount of the
proposed debt to be incurred at the time and place below specified, to wit:
TIME: Tuesday, June 21, 1960, at 2:OO o'clock P. M.
PLACE: Meeting place of The Board of Directors of
Carlsbad Municipal Water District at 2698
State Street, Carlsbad, California.

any person interested, including any person owning
property within said municipal water district, or the proposed improvement district may appear and be
heard.
Above Notice given by order of the Board of Directors
of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT.
