RESOLUTION OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT AUTHORIZING PRESIDENT TO EXECUTE A GRANT DEED TO CITY OF CARLSBAD OF A PARCEL OF REAL PROPERTY BELONGING TO
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
WHEREAS, CITY OF CARLSBAD, a municipal corporation, has re- quested the CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT to execute a grant deed to a portion of a parcel of real property belonging to CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATE R DISTRICT, more particularly described hereinafter; and
WHEREAS, the CITY OF CARLSBAD, desires to use said parcel
of real property for a public use, namely: street right of way; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT deems it to the best interests of the district to execute such a grant deed.
NOW THEREFORE THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. That it is to the best interests of the CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT to execute a grant deed to CITY OF CARLSBAD to the following described real property:
That certain parcel of land situated in the City of
Carlsbad, County of San Diego, State of California, being a portion of the Southeasterly 60.00 feet of Lot 27, Seaside Lands, (Excepting from said property the Northeasterly 162.89 feet thereof), according to Map thereof No. 1722, filed in the Office of the County Recorder of said County, July 28, 1921, said parcel being described as follows:
Beginning at a point on the Westerly line of Lot 27, Seaside Lands, Map No. 1722 as filed in the Office
of the County Recorder of said County, said point lying
North 34'33' West a distance of 12.00 feet from the
Southwest corner of said Lot 27 and said point being
the beginning of a tangent point of a curve of 12.00 foot
radius; thence Southeasterly along said curve 18.85 feet
to a point, subtending a central angle of 90°; thence South
55O27' West 12.00 feet to the point of beginning; said
parcel containing 30.90 square feet of area.
2. That the President is hereby authorized and directed to execute a
grant deed to CITY OF CARLSBAD covering the above described real property
for and on behalf of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT. ,'
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 20th day of June, 1961.
