RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT RELOCATING THE DIVISION
BOUNDARIES OF THE DIRECTORS OF' CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the existing division boundaries of the directors of
Carlsbad Municipal Water District were established at the time of the
formation of the Carlsbad Municipal Water District in 1954; and
WHEREAS, there have been changes in the population of the
various division boundaries since 1954;and
WHEREAS, at the time of the establishment of the original division
boundaries within the Carlsbad Municipal Water District, said division
boundaries coincided with the then existing voting precinct boundaries; and
WHEREAS,Registrar of Voters of San Diego County has just
revised the boundaries and established new voting precincts within the
Carlsbad Municipal Water District based upon estimated revised population
of said precinct;and
WHEREAS, an investigation by the Board of Directors of Carlsbad
Municipal Water District indicates that the estimated population within the
existing divisions of the Carlsbad Municipal Water District is unequa1;and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors are of the opinion that it is
desirable to relocate the existing boundaries of all divisions so as to equal-
ize, as nearly as practicable, the population in the respective divisions;and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors deem it to the best interests of
the Carlsbad Municipal Water District and the inhabitants thereof that said
division boundaries be relocated.
NOW THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS 0% CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the Board of Directors of the Carlsbad NIunicipal
Water District deem it desirable to relocate the boundaries
of all divisions within the Carlsbad Municipal Water District.
2. That the Board of Directors of Carlsbad Municipal
Water District hereby declare that the new boundaries
of each division shall be the same as the exterior
boundaries of the voting precincts as established by
the Registrar of Voters of San Diego County for the
voting precincts hereinafter set forth for each division
shall include all of the land and all of the inhabitants
located within each voting precinct as established by
the Registrar of Voters of San Diego County that is
set forth under each division title, and that is located
within the boundaries of the Carlsbad Municipal Water
District . Each division of the Carlsbad Municipal
Water District shall include the land and inhabitants
within the following voting precincts:

Carlsbad Voting Precinct 1
Carlsbad Voting Precinct 2
Carlsbad Voting Precinct 8
North Carlsbad Voting Precinct 1
DIVISION 2
Carlsbad Voting Precinct
Carlsbad Voting Precinct
Carlsbad Voting Precinct
Carlsbad Voting Precinct
DIVISION 3
Carlsbad Voting Precinct
Carlsbad Voting Precinct
Carlsbad Voting Precinct
Carlsbad Voting Precinct
DIVISION 4

3. The Secretary is authorized and directed to take any other
necessary steps to establish the official boundaries of the
divisions as hereinabove set forth.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 16 day of January ,1962.

I, RICHARD R.COE, Secretary of the Board of Directors of
Carlsbad Municipal Water District, Do hereby certify that the foregoing
resolution was duly adopted by the Board of Directors of said District and
approved by the President of said District at a regular meeting of said
Board held on the 1,6th day of January1962, and that it was so adopted
by the following vote:
AYES: Directors: Carnohan, Coe, Greek, Kelly, Maerkle
NOES: Directors: None
ABSENT: Directors: None
