RESOLUTION NO. 156
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER. DISTRICT RESOLVING: THAT A..N ELECTION SHALL NOT
BE HELD; REQUESTING-THE BOARD OF
SUPERVIOSRS OF THE COUNTY OF SAN DIEGO TO APPOINT THE PERSONS NOMINATED-AS MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF CARLSBAD MXNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT

WHEREAS the following persons have declared their candidacy and are
iominated as and for the members of the Board of Directors of Carlsbad
lunicipal Water District for the divisions as set forth below:
DIVISION 1 - MAC CARNOHAN
DIVISION 2 - WESLEYF. GREEK . ..
._ . . DIVISION 5 - ALLANO. KELLY'
- -. _.. - . AND WHEREAS no other persons have been nominated for such offices
m the 65th day, or prior thereto of the district general election.
AND WHEREAS pursuant to Section 4. 1 of the Municipal District Act of
,911, the Board of Directors may request the Board of Supervisors to appoint
he persons nominated.
NOW THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF CARLSBAD
dUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
. -- 1. .. 1, That by reason of the fact that only one person has filed for the
)ffice of member of the Board of Directors on or before the 65th day of the
iistrict general election, the board does hereby resolve and order that in
Lccordance with the provisions of Section 4.1 of the Municipal Water District
Ilct of 1911, that an election shall not be held this year.
2. The Board of Directors does herewith request that the Board of
hpervisors of the County of San Diego at a regular or special meeting held
rior to the day of election, appoint the persons to the offices set forth after
.heir names as follows:
MAC CARNOHAN - Member of the Board of Directors from Division 1 of Carlsbad Muni-
cipal Water District. i:
WESLEY F. GREEK - Member of the Board of Directors from Division 2 of Carlsbad Muni- cipal Water District.

Passed, approved and adopted at a regular meeting held on the 1st
day of May, 1962, by the following vote to wit:
