A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT ACCEPTING BID OFFER AND AUTHORIZING OFFICERS OF SAID
DISTRICT TO ENTER INTO CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT
WITH SUCCESSFUL BIDDER, SUBJECT TO THE APPROVAL
OF THE HOUSING AND HOME FINANCE AGENCY.
WHEREAS, on May 27, 1963, the Board of Directors of the
Carlsbad Municipal Water District , opened sealed, written bids for
the construction of its Administration Building and the Warehouse,
WHEREAS, BETRAUN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY was the low bidder at NINETY-FIVE THOUSAND, THREE HUNDRED AND NINETY DOLLARS ($95,390. 001,
WHEREAS, a portion of the funds for said construction will be coming from the Housing and Home Finance Agency, which reserves the right to make final approval of anybid documents before the same can be finally
accepted by this Board,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS RESOLVED that the Carlsbad Municipal
Water District accept the bid of BETRAUN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY in
the amount of NINETY-FIVE THOUSAND, THREE HUNDRED AND NINETY
DOLLARS ($95,390. 00) for the construction of its Administration Bilding
and Warehouse subject to the final approval of the Housing and Home Finance Agency.
The officers of the corporation are authorized to enter into a formal
construction contract with BETRAUN CONSTRUCTION COMPANY for the
total consideration of NINETY-FWE THOUSAND, THREE HUNDRED AND
NINETY DOLLARS ($95,390.00), upon receiving notice from the Hcusing Home
and Finance Agency that they have approved the bid and have consented to our
accepting the same.
