RESOLUTION OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT APPROVING THE PROPOSED
AGREEMENT FOR CONSTRUCTION OF WATER SYSTEM TO
SERVE SUBDIVISION LANDS AND FOR PERFORMANCE BOND WITH RANCHO LA COSTA, INC., AND AUTHORIZING THE MANAGER OF SAID DISTRICT TO EXECUTE THE SAME ON
BEHALF OF THE DISTRICT
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad Municipal Water District has caused to be prepared an agreement for construction of water system to serve sub- division lands and for performance bond, binding Rancho La Costa, Inc.
to certain terms and conditions;
WHEREAS, two of the conditions of said agreement call for the
construction of a water system in compliance with the specifications of
said District, and the posting of a $68, 000. 00 completion bond;
WHEREAS, execution of said agreement acknowledges that District
has approved final plans and specifications for said water system; and
WHEREAS, the Manager has reviewed said plans and specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF CARLSBAD
i MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT DOES HEREBY DETERMINE AND RESOLVE
AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the agreement for construction of water system to serve sub-
division lands and for performance bond with Rancho La Costa, Inc. is hereby
approved .
2. That the Manager of said District is hereby authorized to execute
any and all documents necessary to carry out said agreement, and to execute said agreement, when, in his discretion, the plans and specifications and all
other preliminary matters pertaining to said agreement have been complied
with.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 21st day of July, 1964.
