A RESOLUTION OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER
DISTRICT ESTABLISHING THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS
FOR THE ANNEXATION OF PROPERTIES IN THE NORTH CARLSBAD AREA TO IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1
OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the Board of
Directors of the Carlsbad Municipal Water District that property owners
in the North Carlsbad area desire to annex to Improvement District No. 1; and
WHEREAS, Pursuant to 72673(b) of the Water Code, the
Board shall declare by resolution the terms and conditions upon which such annexation shall occur.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT does hereby determine and
resolve as follows:
RESOLVED, that all of the remaining properties in the North
Carlsbad area which are not entitled to water from the City of Oceanside
may be annexed to Improvement District No. 1 of the Carlsbad Municipal Water District, and upon the completion of such annexation, said properties
shall, in addition to all other taxes, be subject to an annexation fee equal to $. 20 per hundred assessed valuation of said property for the taxable
years 1966-1967, 1967-1968, 1968-1969, said sum to be payable through
the County Assessor's office as part of the regular taxing procedure.
ADOPTED, SIGNED and APPROVED this 16th day of February,
1965.
