RESOLUTION NO. 198
RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO ANNEX r WHEREAS, the Carlsbad Municipal Water District owns and
possesses certain parcels of real property which are located outside of the boundaries of the District; and
WHEREAS, to avoid real property taxes on said parcels, they
must be annexed to the District.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1. These proceedings are and have been initiated by the Board
of Directors of the Carlsbad Municipal Water District pursuant to
Chapter 4, Article 4, of the Municipal Water District Law of 1911.
2. That the purpose of the annexation is to bring all properties
owned by the District which lie outside of the boundaries of the District
into the District.
3. The descriptions of the parcels of real property proposed to
be annexed are attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference.
4. Any owner of property within such territory may file with the
Secretary of the District, at any time prior to the hour set for the hearing
thereof, a written protest to the annexation of such territory, or to the
annexation of such territory upon such terms and conditions as the case
may be. The time and the place wherein the Board of Directors of the
Carlsbad Municipal Water District will meet to hear any and all protests
to such annexation, shall be 2:OO o'clock P. M., on the 21st day of
September, 1965, said meeting to be held at the office of the District at 5780 El Camino Real, Carlsbad, California.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED, this 17th day of August,
1965.
