RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT ACCEPTING WITH REGRETS THE
RESIGNATION OF HENRY S. PHILLIPS FROM THE BOARD AND
EXPRESSING ITS GRATITUDE FOR SERVICES RENDERED TO THE DISTRICT DURING HIS TERM OF OFFICE.
WHEREAS, HENRY S. PHILLIPS has heretofore served the CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT as a member of the Board of Directors thereof
from February 5, 1963 to November 1, 1966;
WHEREAS, said HENRY S. PHILLIPS has tendered his resignation
from said Board of Directors effective after the close of the regular meeting of the Board held on November 1, 1966 at the office of the Carlsbad Municipal Water District;
WHER.EAS, said HENRY S. PHILLIPS has performed services for the
Board and the District beyond that required of his office and has given the Board
the benefit of his wisdom acquired during many years as a professional
negotiator; and
WHER.EAS, the Board of Directors, the staff, and the District as a whole
will sincerely miss the presence of said HENRY S. PHILLIPS not only because
of the many services he has rendered, but because of the high regard they hold for him as an individual.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, as follows:
RESOLVED, that the resignation of HENRY S. PHILLIPS is hereby accepted, with deep regrets and with gratitude for the sincere and dedicated services rendered to the CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT.
