RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT RELOCATING THE DIVISION BOUNDARIES OF THE DIRECTORS OF CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, there have been changes in the population of the various
division boundaries since they were last set, and
WHEREAS, an investigation by the Board of Directors of Carlsbad
Municipal Water District indicates that the estimated population within the
existing divisions of the Carlsbad Municipal Water District is unequal,
and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors are of the opinion that it is
desirable to relocate the existing boundaries of all divisions so as to equal-
ize, as nearly as practicable, the pdpulation in the respective divisions, and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors deem it to the best interests of the
Carlsbad Municipal Water District and the inhabitants thereof that said division
boundaries be relocated;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the Board of Directors of the Carlsbad Municipal Water
District deem it desirable to relocate the boundaries of all divisions within
the Carlsbad Municipal Water District.
2. That the Board of Directors of Carlsbad Municipal Water District
hereby declare that the new boundaries of each division shall be the same as
the exterior boundaries of the voting precincts as established by the Registrar
of Voters of San Diego County for the voting precincts hereinafter set forth
for each division shall include all of the land and all of the inhabitants located
within each voting precinct as established by the Registrar of Voters of San
Diego County that is set forth under each division title, and that is located
within the boundaries of the Carlsbad Municipal Water District. Each division
of the Carlsbad Municipal Water District shall include the land and inhabitants
within the following voting precincts:

Carlsbad Voting Precinct
Oceanside Voting Precinct
Oceanside Voting Precinct
DIVISION 2
Carlsbad Voting Precinct Carlsbad Voting Precinct

3. The Secretary is authorized and directed to take any other
necessary steps to establish the official boundaries of the divisions as
hereinabove set forth.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 21st day of MARCH , 1967.
