A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT ESTABLISHING DEPOSIT ACCOUNT AT SECURITY
PACIFIC NATIONAL BANK, FORMERLY SECURITY FIRST NATIONAL
BANK, FOR THE DEPOSIT OF FUNDS OF THE DISTRICT AND
AUTHORIZING OFFICERS OF THE DISTRICT TO DEPOSIT FUNDS
AND WITHDRAW FUNDS FROM SAID ACCOUNT.
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER
DISTRICT desires to establish a bank account for handling the funds
of sinking fund for improvement district No. 3, CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT AS FOLLOWS:
1, That the CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT establish in its
name a deposit account with SECURITY PACIFIC NATIONAL BANK to be
designated and known as CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, IMPROVEMENT
DISTRICT NO. 3, SINKING FUND, upon such terms and conditions as may
be agreed upon with said bank and that the manager of the district
be and he is hereby authorized and directed to establish such account
and deposit funds of the district into said account.
2. That any of the following parties:
a. President of the CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER
DISTRICT and Board of Directors thereof,
b, Secretary of the CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER
DISTRICT and Board of Directors thereof.
c. Treasurer of the CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER
DISTRICT and Board of Directors thereof,
be and they are authorized, any two acting together, to withdraw funds
of the CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, from said account upon checks
of the district, and said bank is hereby authorized to honor and pay

any and all checks so signed, including those drawn to the indivi-
dual order by any officer or other person authorized to sign the
same
- 3. That said account shall be governed by applicable
banking laws, customs and clearing house regulations and by the
rules printed in the bank book and shall be subject to the service
charge schedules of the bank.
4, That all deposits of funds in said accounts shall be
in accordance with the provisions of the general laws of the State
of California governing the deposit of public moneys of cities or
counties in such bank in the State of California and in the same
manner and upon the same security as public moneys of cities and
counties are deposited in such banks and with like force and
effect -
5. That the authority hereby conferred shall remain in
force until revocation thereof by sealed notification to the bank
of such action by the Board of Directors of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER
DISTRICT is received by the bank at the office where such account

6. That the officers of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT are
authorized and directed to execute any other necessary documents
required by the bank for establishing and maintaining this account
in accordance with the terms and conditions of this resolution.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 20th day of November, 1968.
