A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT APPROVING REPORT OF FILTRA-
TION STUDY GROUP OF PARTICIPATING AGENCIES AND SUB- AGENCIES OF THE SAN DIEGO COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY.
WHEREAS, a report, dated February 28, 1969, has been
submitted by the Filtration Study Group, of the Participating
Agencies and Subagencies of the San Diego County Water Authority;
and
WHEREAS, CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT has parti-
cipated as one of the agencies in the Filtration Study Group;
and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT, have reviewed the Filtration Study Group report
of February 28, 1969; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT concur with the recommendations of the Filtra-
tion Study Group that San Diego County Water Authority request
filtered water through the Metropolitan Water District; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT deem this course of action to be in the best
interests of the District and the inhabitants thereof.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AND ORDER AS
FOLLOWS :

That the recommendations of the Report of Filtra-
tion Study Group, dated February 28, 1969, by the
Participating Agencies and Subagencies of the San
Diego County Water Authority are approved.
That the CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT does
hereby request filtered water from the San Diego
County Water Authority through the Metropolitan
Water District.

3. That the San Diego County Water Authority is
hereby requested to take any necessary steps
and actions to request filtered water through
the Metropolitan Water District.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 21st day of May, 1969.

foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the Board of Directors
of said District at a regular meeting of said Board held on the
21st day of May, 1969, and that it was so adopted by the
following vote:

Maerkle and Palmer.
