A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT RECOGNIZING
AND ACKNOWLEDGING THE LEADERSHIP AND ACCOMPLISH-
MENTS OF SAN DIEGO COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, SAN DIEGO COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY will
celebrate the 25th Anniversary of the organization of the
SAN DIEGO COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY on July 15, 1969; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT are familiar with the leadership that SAN
DIEGO COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY has provided for solving the
water problems of San Diego County: and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors desire to recognize
and acknowledge the many accomplishments of the SAN DIEGO
COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY in developing a water distribution
system and providing water for San Diego County,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AND ORDER AS
FOLLOWS :
1. The Board of Directors of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT does hereby recognize and
acknowledge, with gratitude and appreciation,
the leadership that SAN DIEGO COUNTY WATER
AUTHORITY has provided for 25 years in solving
the water problems of San Diego County.
2. The Board of Directors of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT does hereby recognize and
acknowledge, with gratitude and appreciation,
the many accomplishments of the SAN DIEGO
COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY in the development of

a water distribution system for San Diego
County and providing water for San Diego
County,
3, The Board of Directors of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT extends to SAN DIEGO COUNTY
WATER AUTHORITY its congratulations for a
job well done and its best wishes for
continued success.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 18th day of
June, 1969,

Directors of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, DO HEREBY
CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by
the Board of Directors of said District at a regular meeting
of said Board held on the 18th day of June, 1969, and that
it was so adopted by the following vote:
AYES : Directors: Carmichael, Kelly, McLeod,
Maerkle and Palmer.
NOES : Directors: None.
ABSENT: Directors: None.
