A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT OPPOSING
THE ADOPTION OF ASSEMBLY NO. 325
WHEREAS, Assembly Bill No. 325, requires the filing
of annual public statements of investments by all elected
officials: and
WHEREAS, it is deemed that the bill as presented may
discourage the most able persons from running for or holding
local government offices because of its confusing and ambiguous
requirements.
NOW THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:

That Board of Directors of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT does hereby oppose the adoption
of Assembly Bill No. 325 and urge all members
of the State Legislature to oppose the bill as
submitted.
That the Secretary of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER
DISTRICT and of the Board of Directors thereof
is authorized and directed to disseminate this
information to appropriate parties.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 6th day of August, 1969.

Directors of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, DO HEREBY
CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by
the Board of Directors of said District at a regular meeting
of said Board held on the 6th day of August, 1969, and that
it was so adopted by the following vote:
AYES : Directors: Carmichael, Kelly, McLeod and Maerkle.
NOES : Directors: None.
ABSENT: Directors: Palmer.
