RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
ESTABLISHING LEGAL HOLIDAYS FOR
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT .-
WHEREAS, the CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
previously established the legal holidays of the CARLS-
BAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, by Resolution No. 270,
adopted November 3, 1971; and
WHEREAS, the CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
desires to change and amplify said Resolution.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT DOES HEREBY DETERMINE
AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. Resolution No. 270 is hereby rescinded.
2. The legal holidays for the CARLSBAD MUNICI-
PAL WATER DISTRICT and its employees shall be as follows:

Every Saturday.
Every Sunday.
January 1st.
February 12th, known as "Lincoln
Day".
The third Monday in February.
Good Friday from 12:OO o'clock
noon until 3:OO o'clock p.m.
The last Monday in May.
July 4th.
The first Monday in September.
September 9th, known as "Admission
Day".
The second Monday in October, known
as "Columbus Day".
12. The fourth Monday in October,
known as "Veterans Day".
13. The Thursday in November ap-
pointed as "Thanksgiving Day".
14. December 25th.
15. Every day on which an election
is held throughout the State.
3. In the event that January 1, February 12,
July 4, September 9, or December 25 is a Saturday in a
particular year, the said legal holiday for the CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT shall be the preceding Friday.
4. In the event that January 1, February 12,
July 4, September 9, or December 25 is a Sunday in a
particular year, the said legal holiday for the CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT shall be the following Monday.
5. The above holidays shall exist for each
calendar year hereafter.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 16th day of
February , 19 72.

thereof, DO HEREBY certify that the foregoing Resolution
was duly adopted by the Board of Directors of said Dis-
trict at a regular meeting of the said Board held on
the 16th day of February, 1972, and that it was adopted
by the following vote:
AYES: Directors Carmichael, Engelman,
Kelly, MacLeod and Maerkle.
NOES: None
ABSENT: None
