RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT EXER-
CISING OPTION TO REDEEM SOME OUTSTANDING
BONDS OF CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DIS-
TRICT FOR IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 3,
ELECTION 1960, SERIES 1
WHEREAS, on February 21, 1961, the Board of
Directors of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT adopted
Resolution No. 128, entitled:
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT PRO-
VIDING FOR THE ISSUANCE OF BONDS OF
SAID DISTRICT FOR IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
NO. 3 THEREOF IN THE AMOUNT OF $800,000
FOR THE ACQUISITION AND CONSTRUCTION OF
A WATER TRANSMISSION PIPELINE WITH AP-
PURTENANCES AND APPURTENANT WORKS;
and

WHEREAS, the said resolution and the bonds
ed thereby contain provisions for redemption of c
tain bonds in certain years at certain times at the op-
tion of the Board of Directors of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT have determined that it is to
the best interests of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
to exercise its option to redeem some of the said out-
standing bonds.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT DOES HEREBY RESOLVE
AND ORDER AS FOLLOWS:
1. That in accordance with the redemption
schedule set forth in said Resolution No. 128, the
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT exercises its option
to redeem the following bonds of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT for IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 3:

2. That the treasurer of the CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT is hereby authorized and directed to take
or cause to be taken the necessary steps for redeeming
said bonds on March 1, 1972, in accordance with the terms
and conditions of said Resolution No. 128.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 19th day of
January, 1972.

by the Board of Directors of said District, at a regular
meeting of said Board held on the 19th day of January,
1972, and that it was adopted by the following vote:
