RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
ADOPTING CLASSIFICATION AND SALARY RANGE AND SALARY SCHEDULE FOR EMPLOYEES FOR THE 1973-1974 FISCAL YEAR
WHEREAS, after discussion, the Board of Directors
of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT desires to adopt classifi-
cation, salary ranges and a salary schedule for the fiscal year
commencing July 1, 1973 and ending June 30, 1974,
NOW THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. The Classification and Salary Range schedule
for employees of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, attached
hereto as Exhibit "A" and incorporated herein by reference, is c_
hereby established as the classification and salary range
schedule for all employees of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1973 and ending June 30,
1974.
2. The Basic Salary Schedule for employees of
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, attached hereto as Exhibit "B"
and incorporated herein by reference, is hereby established as
the basic salary schedule for all employees of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT for the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1973 and
encing June 30, 1974.
3. The normal eligibility for salary step increase
shall be six (6) months of meritorious service for Step B; one -
(1) year for Step C; one (1) year for Step D and one (1) year
for Step E.
4. The normal step increases set forth in the basic

salary schedule shall be granted to an employee upon the appro-
priate anniversary date of meritorious service by the employee,
upon the recommendation of the appropriate department head and
approval of the Manager of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 20th day of June,
1973.
