RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT APPROVING RULES AND REGULATIONS OF CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT FOR CONSTRUCTION METERS WITHIN
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
WHEREAS, ORDINANCE 26 of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER
DISTRICT provides in part, as follows:
Section 2. The Manager of the District may make, from time to time, rules and regulations, not in conflict with this Ordinance or other
ordinances of the District, governing the use and consumption of water, subject to the appro- val of the Board; and all consumers shall ob- serve such rules and regulations to the same extent as though set forth in this Ordinance;
and WHEREAS, the Manager hag made and caused to be made,
written rules and regulations concerning construction meters
within CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT:
and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT desire to approve such lsules and regulations.
NOW THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT does hereby resolve as follows:
1. The following rules and regulations for construction
meters within CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT are
approved:
a. At the time of making application for a
construction meter, the applicant shall make
a deposit of $300.00.
b. The rental charge for a construction meter
shall be Thirty Dollars ($30.00) a month.
c. A charge of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) shall be
charged for each unauthorized hook-up to a
construction meter.

d. Each application for a construction meter shall
be on an application form which encompasses the
above rules and regulations and each applicant
shall execute a statement on said application
that he is aware of the said rules and regula-
tions.
2. All consumers of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
shall observe such rules and regulations as the
same may be applicable to any construction meters
within the CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 5th day of December,
1973.
