RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL FJATER DISTRICT APPOINTING FRED W. MAERKLE AS ITS REPRESENTATIVE
TO THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
SAN DIEGO COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY
WHEREAS, ALLAN 0. KELLY, the representative of CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT to the Board of Directors of SAN DIEGO
COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY, has resigned as said representative;
and
WHEREAS, the President of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DIS-
TRICT and of the Board of Directors thereof, the chief executive
officer of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, has designated and
appointed FRED W. MAERKLE as the representative of CARLSBAD
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT to the Board of Directors of SAN DIEGO
COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT desires to consent to and approve the appointment
of FRED W. MAERKLE as representative of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER
DISTRICT to the Board of Directors of SAN DIEGO COUNTY WATER
AUTHORITY; and
WHEREAS, FRED W. MAERXLE is willing to act as representa-
tive of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT to the Board of Direc-
tors of SAN DIEGO COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF CARLSBAD MUNI-
CIPAL WATER DISTRICT DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. The appointment of FRED W. MAERKLE as representative
of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT to the Board of Directors
Of SAN DIEGO COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY, by the President of CARLSBAD

MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT and of the Board of Directors thereof,
be, and hereby is, consented to and approved. P
2. The Secretary be, and hereby is, directed and
authorized to supply a copy of this Resolution to the Board of
Directors of SAN DIEGO COUNTY WATER AUTHORITY.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 1st day of November,
1978.

of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, do hereby certify that
the foregoing resolution was duly adopted by the Board of Di-
rectors of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, at a regular
meeting of said Board of Directors on the 1st day of November,
1978, and that it was adopted by the following vote:
