RESOLUTION OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
DETERMINING THE AMOUNTS NECESSARY TO BE RAISED
BY TAXATION IN THE COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT,
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 1
OF THE COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 2
OF THE COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 3
OF THE COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
AND
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 4
OF THE COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
DURING THE FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1, 1980,
AND ENDING JUNE 30, 1981, AND FIXING THE RATES
OF TAX TO BE LEVIED FOR SUCH FISCAL YEAR
WHEREAS, Sections 72090 through 72099, inclusive, of the
Water Code provide that the Board of Directors of Costa Real Muni-
cipal Water District shall determine the amounts necessary to be
raised by taxation during the fiscal year and that the Board of
Directors shall fix the rate or rates of tax to be levied which
will raise the amounts of money required by the District; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of Costa Real Municipal
Water District is required to certify to the Board of Supervisors
of the County of San Diego and the County Auditor of the County
of San Diego the rate or rates so fixed and shall furnish a state-
ment in writing containing the following:
(a) An estimate of the minimum amount of money
required to be raised by taxation during the
fiscal year for the payment of the principal
of and interest on any bonded debt of the
District or an Improvement District therein
that will become due before the proceeds of
a tax levied at the next general tax levy
will be available,

(b) An estimate of the minimum amount of money
required to be raised by taxation during the
fiscal year for all other purposes of the
District; and
WHEREAS, there have been duly formed within the boundaries
of the Costa Real Municipal Water District four improvement dis-
tricts known as Improvement District No. 1 of the Costa Real Muni-
cipal Water District, Improvement District No. 2 of the Costa Real
Municipal Water District, Improvement District No. 3 of the Costa
Real Municipal Water District, and Improvement District No. 4 of
the Costa Real Municipal Water District; and
WHEREAS, there now exists a bonded indebtedness against
each of said Improvement Districts; and
WHEREAS, in the judgment of the Board of Directors of the
Costa Real Municipal Water District, the revenues of the District
and the Improvement Districts therein will probably be inadequate
to pay the principal and interest of the bonded debt of the said
Improvement Districts and all other amounts set forth in Section
71616 of the Water Code.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF COSTA REAL MUNI-
CIPAL WATER DISTRICT DOES HEREBY DETERMINE AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. That the Board of Directors of the Costa Real Municipal
Water District hereby determines that the estimated minimum
amounts necessary to be raised by taxation during the fiscal year
commencing July 1, 1980 and ending June 30, 1981 are as follows:
(a) Costa Real Municipal Water District:

None for the payment of any principal and interest for bonded debt of said Water District.

$ 179,998 for all other purposes
of the District.
Improvement District No. 1 of Costa Real
Municipal Water District:
$ 94,710 for payment of principal
and interest on the bonded debt of said
Improvement District.
None for all other purposes of the Dis-
trict.
Improvement District No. 2 of Costa Real
Municipal Water District:
$ 80,080 for payment of principal and interest on the bonded debt of said Im- provement District.
None for all other purposes of the Dis- trict.
Improvement District No. 3 of Costa Real Municipal Water District:
$ 59,200 for payment of principal and interest on the bonded debt of said Im- provement District.
None for all other purposes of the Dis-
trict.
Improvement District No. 4 of Costa Real Municipal Water District:
$ 61,600 for payment of principal and
interest on the bonded debt of said Im-
provement District.
None for all other purposes of the Dis- trict.
2. That the Board of Directors of the Costa Real Municipal
Water District hereby fixes the rates of taxes to be levied in the
Costa Real Municipal Water District as follows:
(a) For Costa Real Municipal Water District:
$ 0.06 for each $100.00 of assessed valuation on all properties within the boundaries of Costa Real Municipal Water District, as such assessed Val- uation appears on the last equalized assessment roll of the County Assessor
of the County of San Diego.

(b) For Improvement District No. 1 of Costa Real Municipal Water District:

(1) $ ~-03for each $100.00 of assessed valuation on all property
within the boundaries of Improvement
District No. 1 of Costa Real Municipal
Water District as such assessed val-
uations appear on the last equalized
assessment roll of the County Asses-
sor of the County of San Diego, with
such levy being made for bond retire- ment purposes.
(2) No levy is required on property within the boundaries of Improvement
District No. 1 of Costa Real Municipal Water District for all other purposes of said Improvement District.
(c) For Improvement District No. 2 of Costa Real Municipal Water District:
(1) $ 0.08for each $100.00 of
assessed valuation on all property
within the boundaries of Improvement
District No. 2 of Costa Real Municipal
Water District as such assessed val-
uations appear on the last equalized
assessment roll of the County Asses- sor of the County of San Diego, with
such levy being made for bond retire-
ment purposes.
(2) No levy is required on property within the boundaries of Improvement District No. 2 of Costa Real Municipal Water District for all other purposes
of said Improvement District.
(d) For Improvement District No. 3 of
Costa Real Municipal Water District:
(1) $ 0.20 for each $100.00 of
assessed valuation on all properties
within the boundaries of Improvement
District No. 3 of Costa Real Municipal Water District as such assessed val-
uations appear on the last equalized
assessment roll of the County Asses- sor of the County of San Diego, with
such levy being made for bond retire- ment purposes.
(2) No levy is required on property within the boundaries of Improvement District No. 3 of Costa Real Municipal Water District for all other purposes of said Improvement District.
(e) For Improvement District No. 4 of

Costa Real Municipal Water District:
(1) $ 0.02 for each $100.00 of assessed valuation on all properties within the boundaries of Improvement District No. 4 of Costa Real Municipal Water District as such assessed val- uations appear on the last equalized assessment roll of the County Asses- sor of the County of San Diego, with such levy being made for bond retire- ment purposes.
(2) No levy is required on property
within the boundaries of Improvement
District No. 4 of Costa Real Municipal Water District for all other purposes of said Improvement District.
3. That the Board of Directors of Costa Real Municipal
Water District hereby directs that, at the time and in the manner
required by law for the levying of taxes for county purposes, the
Board of Supervisors of the County of San Diego shall levy, in
addition to such other tax as may be levied by said Board of
Supervisors, at the rates heretofore fixed and determined by the
Board of Directors of Costa Real Municipal Water District, taxes

upon the property within the Costa Real Municipal Water District,
Improvement District No. 1 of Costa Real Municipal Water District,
Improvement District No. 2 of Costa Real Municipal Water District,
Improvement District No. 3 of Costa Real Municipal Water District,
and Improvement District No. 4 of Costa Real Municipal Water Dis-
trict, as hereinabove set forth.
4. Any tax levies shall be made in accordance with all
applicable statutes in effect on the date of levying the tax rate
by the Board of Supervisors.
7 5. That the Board of Directors of Costa Real Municipal
Water District hereby directs that any territory previously
excluded from the Costa Real Municipal Water District shall not be
subject to taxation by Costa Real Municipal Water District or the

Improvement District applicable or Improvement Districts of
Costa Real Municipal Water District. _-
6. That the Board of Directors of Costa Real Municipal
Water District hereby directs that this Resolution shall take
effect immediately and shall be effective for purposes of taxa-
tion during the fiscal year commencing July 1, 1980 and ending
June 30, 1981.
7. That the Secretary of the Costa Real Municipal Water
District is hereby authorized and directed to forward three cer-
tified copies of this Resolution to the Board of Supervisors of
the County of San Diego.
