RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
FIXING RATES AND CHARGES OF WATER SUPPLIED BY
COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
EFFECTIVE JULY 1, 1980
WHEREAS, a special committee of the members of the Board
of Directors and members of the staff of COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER
DISTRICT has carefully investigated the rising costs of water and
charges connected with delivery of water to and by COSTA REAL MUNI-
CIPAL WATER DISTRICT and has determined that a revision of the
charges for water delivered is necessary; and
WHEREAS, by motion unanimously adopted by the Board of
Directors of COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT at a regular meet-
ing of the Board of Directors of COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
on June 18, 1980, the said Board of Directors adopted the following

rates and effective dates; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT desires to place such action in a formal resolution
form.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF COSTA REAL MUNI-
CIPAL WATER DISTRICT DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. Paragraph 3 of Resolution No. 385 of the Board of Di-
rectors of COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, adopted on June 20,
1979, is amended to read as follows: I
3. The rates on monthly basis charged for all
water delivered by the District shall be as fol-
lows:

The effective date of the rates set
$ 16.00 per acre foot, plus the
average cost of the water to the
District for the preceding month.
The cost of the water to the Dis-
trict shall be the amount charged by San Diego County Water Autho- rity for the water, plus the cost of chlorination used for water purification.
There shall be an additional charge of $ 13.00 per acre foot for water sold for use in Improvement Dis- tricts 2 and 3.
There shall be an additional charge of $ 1.00 per acre foot per mile for any water using the pipelines of Improvement Districts 2 and 3 to transport water for sale outside of Improvement Districts 2 and 3.

forth herein shall become effec-
tive July 1, 1980, subject to the following exceptions:
a. The effective date for all Retail-Individual
accounts whose next meter reading closing
date is July 15, 1980 shall be July 15, 1980.
b. The effective date for all Retail-Individual
accounts whose next meter reading closing

date is August 15, 1980 shall be August 15,
1980.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 3rd day of September,
1980.
