RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
REQUESTING SAN DIEGO COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
TO APPOINT MEMBERS OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
WHEREAS, for the 1980 COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
General District Election, there were two vacancies for members of
the Board of Directors of COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT in
Division I11 and Division IV of said District; and
WHEREAS, Registrar of Voters of San Diego County conducted
the necessary procedure for declaring the procedure for nomination
of candidates; and
WHEREAS, on the 74th day prior to the day fixed for the
General District Election, only one person had been nominated for
each office of Director to be filled at that election, namely
DIVISION I11 - FRED W. MAERKLE
DIVISION IV - DONALD A. MacLEOD
and
WHEREAS, it was ordered that an election not be held; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT, in accordance with Section 71510, Water Code of the
State of California, would like to request that the Board of Super-
visors of San Diego County appoint the one person who was nominated
for each office of Director of COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
for Divisions I11 and IV of COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF COSTA REAL MUNIC-
IPAL WATER DISTRICT DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:

1. On the 74th day prior to the day fixed for the COSTA
REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT General District Election of 1980,
only one person has been nominated for each office of Director to
be filled at that election, namely: -
DIVISION I11 - FRED W. MAERKLE
DIVISION IV - DONALD A. MacLEOD.
2. In accordance with Section 71510, Water Code of the
State of California, the Board of Directors of COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT requests the Board of Supervisors of San Diego
County to appoint the following persons as Directors of COSTA REAL
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT for the following divisions:
DIVISION I11 - FRED W. MAERKLE
DIVISION IV - DONALD A. MacLEOD.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 19th day of November,

WATER DISTRICT and of the Board of Directors thereof, do hereby
certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the Board
of Directors of said District at a regular meeting of the Board held
on the 19th day of November, 1980, and that it was adopted by the
following vote:
