RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
ADOPTING ADDITIONAL RULES AND REGULATIONS
FOR CONSTRUCTION OF FACILITIES FOR
COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
BY PARTIES OTHER THAN THE
COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
AND PROCEDURE FOR REIMBURSEMENT THEREOF, IF ANY
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 26 of COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER
DISTRICT (known as CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT at the time of
the adoption of Ordinance No. 26), adopted by the Board of Directors
of CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT on May 15, 1968, contains cer-
tain provisions in Article VI for construction of water pipe lines
with excess capacity and extension of water mains and reimbursement
of such excess capacity or extensions; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 26 does not cover the procedure for
the reimbursement of construction of facilities for COSTA REAL MUNI-
CIPAL WATER DISTRICT by parties other than the COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT; and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 26 provides, in part, as follows:
"Section 18. The board may, from time to time,
and is hereby empowered and di-
rected to establish such addition-
al rules and regulations as will,
from time to time, implement the
provisions of this Ordinance .I' ;
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL

WATER DISTRICT deems it to the best interest of the District and the
inhabitants thereof to establish additional rules and regulations to
implement the provisions of Ordinance No. 26.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF COSTA REAL MUNIC-
IPAL WATER DISTRICT DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
1. This resolution is adopted as additional rules and reg-
ulations to implement the provisions of Ordinance No. 26 of COSTA
REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT.
2. Any facilities to be constructed for the COSTA REAL
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT by parties other than the COSTA REAL MUNI-
CIPAL WATER DISTRICT, which are not specifically covered by existing
provisions of Ordinance No. 26, shall be presented to the Board of
Directors of COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT for approval prior
to construction.
3. If any facilities to be constructed for the COSTA REAL
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT by parties other than the COSTA REAL MUNI-
CIPAL WATER DISTRICT are eligible for any reimbursement from COSTA
REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, the procedure for the reimbursement
shall be determined by the Board of Directors of COSTA REAL MUNICI-
PAL WATER DISTRICT prior to the construction of said facilities.

WATER DISTRICT and of the Board of Directors thereof, do hereby
certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the Board
of Directors of said District at a regular meeting of the Board held
on the 6th day of May, 1981, and that it was adopted by the follow-
ing vote:
