RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
ORDERING THAT AN ELECTION SHALL NOT BE HELD
IN DIVISION 111, COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT,
AT THE COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
GENERAL ELECTION, NOVEMBER 6, 1984, AND
REQUESTING SAN DIEGO COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
TO APPOINT A MEMBER OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
WHEREAS, for the 1984 COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
General District Election, there were two vacancies for members of
the Board of Directors of COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT in
Divisions I11 and IV; and
WHEREAS, Registrar of Voters of San Diego County conducted
the necessary procedure for declaring the procedure for nomination
rc of candidates; and
WHEREAS, on the 74th day prior to the day fixed for the
General District Election, nominations for each office of Director
to be filled at the said election had been filed, as follows:
DIVISION I11 - FRED W. MAERKLE
DIVISION IV - SUSAN MARY HAASL
WILLIAM S. JUBB
WILDA F. SIMPSON
DONALD A. MacLEOD
and
WHEREAS, only one person had been nominated for the office
of Director in DIVISION 111: and
WHEREAS, due to an insufficient number of candidates, there
will not be an election in DIVISION 111; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL

WATER DISTRICT, in accordance with Section 71510, Water Code of the
State of California, desires to order that an election shall not be
held in DIVISION 111; and P
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT, in accordance with Section 71510, Water Code of the
State of California, would like to request that the Board of Super-
visors of San Diego County appoint the one person who was nominated
for office of Director of COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT for
DIVISION I11 of COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF COSTA REAL MUNIC-
IPAL WATER DISTRICT DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
7 1. On the 74th day prior to the day fixed for the COSTA
REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT General District Election of 1984,
only one person has been nominated for the office of Director of

COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT to be filled at that election
in the DIVISION 111.
2. In accordance with Section 71510, Water Code of the
State of California, the Board of Directors of COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT orders that an election shall not be held in DIVISION
111, COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT, at the COSTA REAL MUNICI-
PAL WATER DISTRICT General Election, November 6, 1984.
3. In accordance with Section 71510, Water Code of the
- State of California, the Board of Directors of COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT requests the Board of Supervisors of San Diego
County to appoint the following person as Director of COSTA REAL
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT for DIVISION I11 of COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL

I, FRED W. MAERKLE, Secretary of the COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT and of the Board of Directors thereof, do hereby
certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the Board
of Directors of said District at a regular meeting of the Board held
on the 5th day of September, 1984, and that it was adopted by the
following vote:
AYES: Directors: ALMACK, BONAS, KELLY and MAERKLE
NOES : Directors: None
ABSENT: Directors: MacLEOD
