HomeMy WebLinkAbout1985-09-18; Municipal Water District; Resolution 474RESOLUTION NO. 474 RESOLUTION OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT WITH WEARDCO CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION ON THE SANTA FE I1 RESERVOIR CONTRACT AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1 AT A COST OF $19,118.13 WHEREAS, during the course of excavating the site for Santa Fe I1 Reservoir, the Project Manager, District Engineer and Weardco Construction Corporation agreed that the steep slopes specified for the project required additional protective fencing and other measures; and WHEREAS, Staff and consultants prepared Change Order No. 1, together with a Revised Grading Plan, Alternate Sloping Plan 7 dated March 13, 1985, which meets safety requirements; and WHEREAS, the total cost of the slope protection is $19,118.13; and WHEREAS, this additional work justifies an extension of the contract by a period of seven calendar days. NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of the Costa Real Municipal Water District: The District Engineer is hereby authorized and directed to execute Change Order No. 1 to Weardco Construction Corporation, describing recommended safety requirements at a cost of $19,118.13, and a time extension to the contract of seven days; 7 1 P I ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 18th day of September, 1985.
