RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT FIXING COMPENSATION OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, Section 71255 of the Water Code of the State of California provides as follows:
"Each Director shall receive compensation in
an amount not to exceed one hundred dollars
($100) per day for each day's attendance at meetings of the Board or for each day's
service rendered as a Director by request of
the Board, not exceeding a total of six days in any calendar month, together with any
expenses incurred in the performance of his
duties required or authorized by the Board."
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the District to provide for the compensation of Directors:
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, DETERMINED AND ORDERED by
the Board of Directors of Costa Real Municipal Water District as follows:
Section 2.3 of the Administrative Code is amended to read:
ARTICLE 2, ORGANIZATION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Sec, 2.3. Compensation
1. Each Director shall receive compensation in the amount of $100 for each day's attendance at meetings of the Board and of committees
established by the Board.
2. Each Director shall receive compensation in the
amount of $100 for each day's service rendered as a Director by request of the Board.
3, Each Director appointed to represent the District
on the board of directors of the San Diego County
Water Authority shall receive compensation in the
amount of $100 for each day's attendance at
meetings of said board and the committees thereof.
4. Each Director shall be reimbursed for any expenses incident to services rendered as a Director by request of the Board.

5. In no event shall a Director receive compensation
for more than a total of six days in any calendar month.
6. Except for compensation paid for attendance at meetings of the Board, no compensation or expenses
shall be paid by the District to a Director until
the Director has filed with the District, on a form provided by the District, a claim for
compensation and reimbursement of expenses.
7. Former resolutions and motions fixing Directors'
compensation are rescinded.

MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT and of the Board of Directors thereof,
do hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted
by the Board of Directors of said District at a special meeting
of the Board held on the 6th day of November 1985, and that it
was adopted by the following vote:
AYES : Directors: Almack, Haasl, Kelly and Bonas
NOES : Directors: None
ABSENT: Directors: Maerkle
