RESOLUTION OF BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT .
RECOGNIZING AND COMMENDING THE OUTSTANDING SERVICES
OF HANS DOE TO SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, water is the source of life, and
WHEREAS, Southern California is a semi-arid desert, which, without imported water would have not developed into the place we all work and live, and
WHEREAS, the people needed leaders of vision, courage
and conviction to develop the water industry of California, and
WHEREAS, HANS DOE is such a person as evidenced by his
years of service to the industry including membership on the
Boards of the Vista Irrigation District, San Diego County Water
Authority, Metropolitan Water District of Southern California and
Association of California Water Agencies, and
WHEREAS, the development of the Costa Real Municipal
Water District, in particular, can be partially attributed to HANS DOE for his involvement in the San Diego County Water
Authority's South Aqueduct and Tri-Agencies Pipeline projects,
and

WHEREAS, October 23, 1986 has been selected as the day
to honor HANS DOE:
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the Costa Real
Municipal Water District Does Hereby Resolve and Order as Follows :
The outstanding services of HANS DOE in the development
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of September,
of the water industry of California be recognized and honored.

I, FRED W. MAERKLE, Secretary of COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL
WATER DISTRICT and of the Board of Directors thereof, do hereby
certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly adopted by the
Board of Directors of said District at a regular meeting of
the Board held on the 17th day of September, 1986, and that it
was adopted by the following vote:
