RESOLUTION NO. 533
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
AMENDING GUIDELINES FOR COMPENSATION AND
REIMBURSEMENT OF DIRECTORS
WHEREAS, the Administrative Code of the Costa
Municipal Water District provides for compensatiol
reimbursement of directors engaged in District business, an(
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors has determined tl
is desirable to establish a policy clarifying the activitj
directors which may be compensable and reimbursable;
I NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board o
rectors of the Costa Real Municipal Water District:
1. Section 2.3 of the Administrativ'e Code of the
Real Municipal Water District is hereby amended to re
provided in Exhibit "A" attached hereto.
2. This resolution shall be deemed effective
January 21, 1987.

Each Director shall receive compensation as follows:
1. Attendance at each Board and committec
meeting at a rate of $100.00 per day.
2. Attendance as the Board designated Organiza- tional Representative at meetings of Boarc
approved organizations at a rate of $100.00.
2.3.1 Compensation. In addition to compensatio~
authorized by Section 2.3, it is the policy of the
District that a Director is considered to be renderin!
service by request of the Board, and shall be compen-
sated at the rate of $100.00 per day, when:
A. Attending business meetings within thf
State of California as a District-designate(
representative or alternate to: the San Diegc
County Water Authority, Association of Californii
Water Agencies-Joint Powers Insurance Authority
San Diego Regional Water Reclamation Agency
President & Managers Council of Water Utilities
Association of Water Reclamation Agencies, 0:
California Special District Association.
B. Attending any other meeting, conference
organizational committee, or seminar for whic compensation is specifically approved by th, Board.
2.3.2 Reimbursement. It is the policy of thi
District that expenses are incurred by a Directo
in the performance of duties requested or authorize
by the Board, and shall, upon claim, be reimburse
when :
A. Attending a meeting or conference for whic
compensation is otherwise authorized by Sectio
2.3.1(A).
