RESOLUTION NO. 544
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
ESTABLISHING THE APPROPRIATIONS LIMIT FOR
COSTA REAL MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR COMMENCING JULY 1, 1987 AND ENDING
OF THE CONSTITUTION OF THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA AND
DIVISION 9 OF THE GOVERNMENT CODE OF THE
JUNE 30, 1988 IN ACCORDANCE WITH ARTICLE XI11 B
STATE OF CALIFORNIA
WHEREAS, Section 1 of Article XI11 B of the Constitut
the State of California provides that the total a
appropriations of each local government shall not exce
appropriations limit of such entity of government for the
year, adjusted for changes in the cost of living and popul
subject to certain specified exceptions in said Article; ar
WHEREAS, Section 8 of Article XI11 B of the Constitut

authorization to expend during a fiscal year the proce
taxes levied by or for that entity and the proceeds of
subventions to that entity" (other than subventions made p
to new programs or services mandated by the State Legis:

WHEREAS, Section 7910 of the Government Code of the S
California provides that each year the governing body (

FOLLOWS :
1. The appropriations limit for COSTA REAL MUNICIPA:
DISTRICT, pursuant to Article XI11 B of the Constitution
State of California for the fiscal year commencing July 1
and ending June 30, 1988, is $374,671.07.
2. In accordance with Section 2, Article XI11 B
Constitution of the State of California, any revenues rece.

which is appropriated in compliance with Article XI11 B

shall be returned by a revision of tax rates or fee scht
within the next two subsequent fiscal years.
