RESOLUTION 557
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF COSTA REAL
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT AMENDING ADMINISTRATIVE CODE
SECTION 5.3 REGARDING STANDBY TO PROVIDE FOR TWO PERSOl
STANDBY AT A RATE OF $100 PER WEEK FOR EACH EMPLOYEE
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Costa Municipal Water District currently has a policy reg; standby, and
WHEREAS, safety practices dictate that the cc
policy should be changed to provide for two person standby,
WHEREAS, the rate of compensation for standby : reflective of the value of employees' time, and
WHEREAS, the scheduling of standby should be weekly basis.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Board of Directors of the Real Municipal Water District does.hereby amend Section the District's Administrative Code to read:
1. Standby. Two employees shall b,e on standby a
times. Each such employee shall remain on s'
for a one week period and shall receive $1(
week for the standby period. The employee shz
compensated in the normal manner for any performed. ' Standby call shall not be regarc
call back work.
