RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
HONORING FRED MAERKLE FOR THIRTY YEARS OF SERVICE
AND RENAMING THE SQUIRES RESERVOIR FACILITIES
THE FRED MAERKLE RESERVOIR FACILITIES
WHEREAS, Fred Maerkle has helped to guide the ej
of the District since his appointment to the Board in 1959,
WHEREAS, Fred Maerkle has had only the best intc
of the District at heart throughout these thirty years, and
WHEREAS, Fred Maerkle continues to be supportive c
Board and Staff in the day-to-day operations of the District
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors wishes to recc
I Fred Maerkle's contribution to the District;
NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF CAI
MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT DOES HEREBY RESOLVE:
That the Squires Reservoir Facilities be renames
Fred Maerkle Reservoir Facilities.
ADOPTED, SIGNED AND APPROVED this 7th day of
