RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
OF CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
OPPOSING THE PASSAGE OF
SJR 26 (MC CORQUODALE)
WHEREAS, after study and examination of Senate Resolution No. 26 as introduced by Senator McCorquoda March 27, 1989, and analysis of its meaning and the effe could have,
NOW, THEREFORE, THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF CA MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
That it opposes SJR 26 as introduced on March 27,
and as amended in the Senate on May 26, 1989, and June 16,
because SJR 26 asks the Federal government to address pr
that have already been resolved. It ignores the fact thz
Central Valley Project (CVP) has been reauthorized by Congr,
