RESOLUTION NO. 695
A RESOLUTION OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT APPROVING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS, AUTHORIZING THE ADVERTISEMENT OF BIDS, AND APPROPRIATING FUNDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF WATERLINE IMPROVEMENTS TO EL CAMINO REA: FROM CHESTNUT AVENUE TO HOSP WAY (CMWD NO. 89-102)
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of Carlsbad Municipal District has determined it is necessary, desirable, and j
public interest to construct waterline improvements to El ( Real from Chestnut Avenue to Hosp Way; and
WHEREAS, plans, specifications, and contract document
the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equir
transportation, and other expenses necessary or incident2
said project, have been prepared and are on file in the Mun
Projects Department of the City of Carlsbad; and
WHEREAS, $1.72 million are available from the Dis
Major Facilities Charge account; and
WHEREAS, construction of said improvements is a matt
public necessity and safety.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED as follows:
1. That the above recitations are true and correct.
2. That the plans, specifications, and contract doc
as presented are hereby approved.
3. That the City Clerk of the City of Carlsbad is
authorized and directed to proceed to publish, in
dance with law, Notice to Contractors inviting bil

Camino Real in accordance with the 1
specifications, and contract documents hereil
ref erred.
