RESOLUTION NO. 757
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT AMENDING THE LOCAL CONFLICT OF INTEREST CODE OF THE CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT.
WHEREAS, the District has previously adopted and
its local conflict of interest code; and
WHEREAS, provisions of the Political Reform Act
("the Act") (Government Code Section 81000 et seq.) req-
amendment to said code due to changed circumstances, changed
or new positions; and
WHEREAS, the Board of Directors of the Carlsbad Mu
Water District is the code reviewing body within the meanin!
Act; and
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 87200 has been
to require city treasurers and other public officials wha
public investments to make disclosure under Article 2 of Ck
of the Act; and
WHEREAS, the City has revised job duties, functj
descriptions and created new positions; and
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad Municipal Water Distric
subsidiary district of the City of Carlsbad and a separat
entity and local agency within the meaning of the Act whi
adopt and amend its local conflict of interest code; and
WHEREAS, the existing conflict of interest code
District must be repealed upon adoption of this code,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of D:
of the Carlsbad Municipal Water District as follows:

3. Title 9 of the Carlsbad Municipal Water I
Administrative Code entitled "Conflict of Interest" is repe(
the executive manager is authorized to implement its rex
substitute this code in its place.
