RESOLUTION NO. 791
RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF THE
CARLSBAD MUNICIPAL WATER DISTRICT
REQUIRING NONPOTABLE OR RECLAIMED WATER
TOBEUSEDFORCONSTRUCTIONPURPOSES
DURING THE STAGE 1 WATER WATCH
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad Municipal Water District Board of Directors t
a Stage 1 Water Watch effective May 6, 1992; and
WHEREAS, the Stage 1 Water Watch asks customers for a 1OC
reduction in water consumption from the base year 1989-90 period; and
WHEREAS, water remains our most precious natural resource and ml
to be conserved; and
WHEREAS, the use of nonpotable or reclaimed water is encouraged
and
WHEREAS, the Carlsbad Municipal Water District has reclaimed wat
to its customers.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Directors of tl
Municipal Water District that, for as long as the Stage 1 Water Watch remail
nonpotable or reclaimed water must be used for construction purposes, if a1
